Teacher, (Don't) Leave Them Kids Alone

Education Through Music-Los Angeles, a nonprofit organization providing disadvantaged schools with quality music instruction, is seeking teaching artists. Applicants should have a bachelor's or advanced degree in music or the fine arts. Positions run September through June, one to four days per week. Responsibilities include providing sequential music instruction to students and collaborating with the school's teachers to integrate arts into the curriculum. Artists will receive a salary, plus paid training in pedagogy, lesson planning, and classroom management.
