MITF Goes Commercial
The Midtown International Theatre Festival, currently running its ninth annual summer program of varied and eclectic works, will unveil the MITF Commercial Division featuring shows staged with a specific eye toward a future existence. Three participating shows, running in repertory from July 18-Aug. 10, are Exit Cuckoo, a one-woman show written and performed by Lisa Ramirez, Opa!, a musical comedy about life and love on a forgotten Grecian isle, and Love, Incorporated, a musical comedy about an NYC businesswoman. All shows run at TBG Theatre, 312 W. 36th St., between 8th and 9th avenues, on the 3rd floor.
