'Sixth Sense' Star Joins Mamet Revival

Haley_joel_osment Michael Riedel reports today for the New York Post that Haley Joel Osment, the young Oscar-nominated star of The Sixth Sense, has joined the cast of the Broadway revival of David Mamet's American Buffalo.

Osment will play Bob, a con man in training who becomes involved in an elaborate scheme to steal a rare coin collection. John Leguizamo and Cedric the Entertainer also star. American Buffalo opens Nov. 17 at the Belasco on Broadway in NYC.

The actor is currently a student at New York University, where he is studying fine arts and Middle Eastern studies, but will be taking a leave of absence for his stage debut.
