AFTRA and SAG Explain It All for You

In one of the preliminary steps toward AFTRA and SAG resuming joint negotiating for a new series of commercials contracts, the two estranged unions will hold informational sessions explaining the results of a comprehensive study of the advertising industry. The study was conducted by Booz Allen, a consulting firm.

The first of these meetings will be tomorrow--Tuesday, Oct. 7--at the Westin Times Square Hotel in New York. The first Gotham session runs from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., the second from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Westin: 270 W. 43rd St., at Eighth Avenue.

There will be meetings in Los Angeles on Oct. 15 and Oct. 27 at SAG/AFTRA headquarters at 5757 Wilshire Blvd. There will also be meetings in San Francisco (Oct. 14), Miami (Oct. 21), and Chicago (Oct. 23). Get all the information here.
