'Grey's Anatomy' Drives One Fan to Drink

Alright I am trying to be loyal but if you have read any of my previous blogs, you may know that I am upset with Shonda Rhimes.  I just don't think I can hang in there much longer.  I was hoping this wave of very, very, bad story lines on Grey's, was just some sort of creative constipation, but no, no, it's actually full-on actualized crap.

I made myself watch last night.  I thought that I might give it one last shot to redeem itself. After all I spent many a night, (yes I am single), being entertained by McDreamy and McSteamy and you know the other people, whoever they are.  So I thought I owed them just that much respect. 
I am never the first one to jump ship.  Loyalty is my middle name.  But I had to break out the beer last night, it was so bad.  Oh and I don't drink, so that's not a good thing.  Now there's a headline:  Grey's Anatomy Drives One Fan to Drink. 

Now I will have to say no more after I just simply, without bias or witty rhetoric, describe last night's episode.  Izzie is now having sex with Denny Duqette, dead Denny Duqette...oh, yeah in her bedroom, in the house that she shares with pretty much everyone else in the hospital.  She is getting her world rocked by a dead man.  She's moaning and groaning over a dead man's penis!  In fact, I kid you not, she's howling in such ecstasy, that the other doctors in the house are listening outside her door. 

But then, best of all, they all realize that her boyfriend is not in the room because he is with them, listening as well.  Then when they are all aghast by the scandal of it all, Izzie's boyfriend Alex says something like, "She's flying solo. That's hot.  Leave her alone." 

Katherine Heigl, didn't anyone ever tell you what happens when you complain that the Writers aren't writing good storylines for you?  They write a storyline where you have to screw a dead man and moan... loudly!

Then, oh yeah it gets way better.  The Interns decide to do full-on surgery, on themselves.  It's the middle of the night and they perform a clandestine apendectomy on one of their fellow residents who has been given an epidural.  When one of the leaders, Dr. Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh) decides this is probably not a good idea (ya think?), the intern who is the guinea pig takes the scalpel and cuts herself open.  Oh yeah?  What do you think happens?  Can you guess? They almost kill her of course!

But the best, none of the interns get kicked out of the program.  Oh wow, I just don't know if I can do it one more night.

Alright, if I don't have  a date next week, I will give it one more try.  But I think it's time, really time, to start a relationship!
