The Ultimate Chucky Turn-On : FOX's "Dollhouse"
It's about to rain oddities for Sci Fi fans everywhere. The ridiculously secretive pilot Dollhouse, crafted by Joss Whedon and boxed for FOX, has finally been unveiled. The details are as tantalizing as they are extremely well written.
The thriller-drama stars Eliza Dushku and a handful of other "perfect humans", as the residents of a house [read: super-secret laboratory], who get their noggins annihilated and subsequently loose all memory and human impulse. They meander mindlessly about their abode, impassively interacting with each other. Once in awhile, one or two are plucked, stuck in a chair, and instilled with new personalities to aid them in completing "assignments" for the lab.
It can be deduced that these will include burglary, manslaughter, and likely highly interesting sexual situations.
On Friday, February 13th [ha ha] FOX will premiere Dollhouse alongside the equally sci-fi-y if slightly tepid-by-comparison The Sarah Conner Chronicles.
If Ronny Yu hadn't made Chucky sink the anchor, he'd be having a field day right about now.
