The 2009 Rooftop Summer Series is accepting submissions of films of any genre, category, and length. Rooftop screens more than 200 daring new indie movies from May through September outdoors in parks and on the rooftops of New York City. More than 18,000 people attended Rooftop screenings last year. Submissions must be in English or have English subtitles; you must submit both a preview and screening copy. Earlybird deadline, with $9 entry fee ($4 for Withoutabox members), is Jan. 5, 2009 (postmarked); regular deadline plus $13 fee is Feb. 2, 2009; late deadline ($16) is March 1, 2009.
