Dancer Seeks to Inspire with Performance, Giveaway

 Through her performances, Suzana Stankovic likes to inspire people to "Dare. Love. Believe!"  Her upbeat philosophy informs a new inspirational calendar she is giving away at an upcoming event. 

On Thursday, December 18th, 2008, the NYC actress, dancer, director and choreographer will perform a preview of her upcoming show at a Manhattan loft.  The first 50 ticket buyers will receive a free copy of a limited-edition 2009 calendar, which features images of the performer by photographers Rachel Neville and Ken Paprocki coupled with inspirational anecdotes.

"I'm giving my calendar away because I really want to inspire people to make positive changes in their lives and live their dreams," says Stankovic.

The evening will include a 25-minute performance by Stankovic and fellow performers Andreas Altmann, David Kaplan and Tom Martone. Featured are the dance pieces "Desire & Sacrifice," "Daybreak," "Purple Sparkle" and "Super Girl."  The event is from 7-10 p.m.

Admission includes wine, hors d'oeuvres, and $10 gift certificate for any of Stankovic's 2009 performances.

Tickets are $25, or $20 for students, seniors or groups.  Seating is limited.  Tickets can be purchased online.  Exact location will be given at time of ticket purchase.
