LA's 2nd Annual 1Minute Monologue Contest Winner: Melissa Disney

Melissadisney The winner of L.A.'s 2nd Annual 1 Minute Monologue Contest has been announced.  Congratulations to Melissa Disney, an accomplished actress who took the coveted top honor.  L.A.'s 1 Minute Monologue Contest (sponsored by Clay Banks Productions) offers a really great opportunity for Los Angeles actors to show off their talent in front of top industry professionals.

The actors only have one minute to do their thing.  But for the notable industry judges, it doesn't usually take longer than that to spot who has the acting chops.  This year's contest was a huge success although the competition was extremely close.  If you missed it, don't despair.  Get those monologues ready for the next competition...it'll be here before you know it!

Really if you are an L.A. actor, you need to take advantage of this showcase.  The 2009 event will be announced very soon.  It's only ten dollars to register!  Go to the LA 1 Minute Monologue site for more info.  This is a really a great chance to be seen!

What a great way to showcase talented actors! I'm sad I missed the opportunity.
