Writing for Television 2009: What You Need to Know
The Writer's Guild Foundation hosts Writing for Television 2009: What You Need to Know on Saturday, July 25th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m in Los Angeles.
The panel discussion will explore the current T.V. writing climate, how to break in and create a hit show, the inner workings of a writers room, and more. Jay Kogen (from The Simpsons and Frazier) will be among the numerous panelists as well as Andrew Goldberg (Family Guy), Rick Eid (Law & Order),Andrew Marlowe (Castle).
Tickets are $150 for the general public; $125 for WGA members; $110 for full-time students with ID. The cost includes light breakfast and lunch, snacks, and evening wine and cheese mixer.
