Back Stage Readers Cast in 'Daily Show' Music Video
We'd like to offer a belated congratulations to our Back Stage readers who were featured on an episode of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart last week. After responding to a casting notice in Back Stage, Tationna Bosier, Christina Calph, Tamala De Jesus, Lauren Francesca, Ashley Johnson, and Martese Mason were cast as dancers in "Still a Boss," a music video produced by The Daily Show for rapper Slim Thug, whose hip-hop lifestyle has been negatively affected by the recession.
In the second half of a two-part series, Daily Show correspondent Wyatt Cenac helped write and direct the following music video with Slim Thug "to raise awareness about a community in trouble." Watch the video below:

Hello Doggie Productions is casting a parody of a hip-hop video for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Matt Polidoro, prod. Shoots approx. Sept. 15 and/or 16 in Brooklyn, NY.
Seeking—Four-Six Female Back-Up Dancers: 20s, all ethnicities, slim to curvy, professional music video experience preferred, wardrobe will be provided, dancers should be comfortable wearing skimpy clothing, some rhythm and dance experience a plus since there will likely be no choreography.
