New York City's favorite graduate student is heading to Port Charles. Producers for "General Hospital" have confirmed that James Franco, star of "Spider-Man," "Milk," and "Pineapple Express," will join the show for a two-month recurring role. "It's an honor that an actor of James' caliber would choose to spend some of his valuable time in Port Charles," executive producer Jill Farren Pjelps said. Producers said that Franco, who is set to play Allen Ginsberg in the upcoming film "Howl," approached the soap about a possible part.
