"How do I RENEW, upgrade, activate, or extend my subscription?"
You can renew, upgrade, activate, or extend your subscription in just five easy steps:
1) Click on the "Log In" button on the BackStage.com homepage.
2) Click the "Subscribers: Log In to Back Stage" option to Log In to the BackStage.com homepage using your current (or expired) account.
3) A new "Manage Account" button will now be visible at the top of the homepage. Click on that.

4) You'll now see all of your Subscription Account details
(subscription status, billing info, etc.). You should also see options
to renew and/or upgrade your account. Click on whichever option seems right for you. Then complete the renewal/subscription form.
5) If no renewal options are visible, then simply click on the "Not a Subscriber? -> Enjoy the Benefits of a BackStage Subscription" button in the upper-right corner of the screen. This should bring you to the Renewal/Re-Subscribe Subscription page, allowing you to create a new subscription using your current username and password. (If
you're already logged in, then after choosing a subscription option on
this page you should find that your name/username and basic contact
details are already filled out on the Subscription Order Confirmation
page.)
Note: It's very important that you LOG IN FIRST, prior to trying to renew/subscribe, or else you'll end up creating a completely new subscription that will require a new username, which in turn will mean that you'll lose access to your current subscription's Casting/Resume files and a manual database-update will be needed to reconnect your existing resumes and casting alerts/searches with your new username.
If your subscription has expired or you're accidentally logging in with an old username, then you'll likely see the following error message when you try to visit the Casting areas of BackStage.com:
"If you keep getting sent back to this page, there may be a problem with your subscription. Please log in, then click on the Manage Account button near the top of the screen to check your subscription status. You may need to activate or renew your subscription. If you're unable to resolve the problem, then please contact our Customer Service Department. We apologize for any inconvenience."
To resolve this error, simply follow steps 1-5 above. (Or, if you think that you DO have an active and current subscription, then please contact our Customer Service team to recover your correct username and password, since the username you're trying to use is likely expired if you're seeing this error message).
