Back Stage Digitial Edition - Visual Overview

Back Stage publishes a weekly newsmagazine featuring some of the greatest content from BackStage.com -- including an extensive best-of selection of articles and casting notices -- in a conventient, easy-to-read format. The weekly Back Stage newsmagazine is available as both a print edition (a hard-copy newspaper available on newstands, in bookstores, and via mail) and a digital edition (an enhanced e-magazine available online).

The Back Stage Digital Editions are online replicas of the weekly tabloid-sized Back Stage Magazine print editions (Back Stage East and Back Stage West). The Digital Editions are enhanced with unique online tools, offering readers a new way of reading and using Back Stage that is distinct from the regular BackStage.com interface and separate from the popular Casting.BackStage.com  job-search workflow tools.

Digital Edition FAQ

What is the Back Stage Digital Edition?
The Back Stage Digital Edition is an electronic version of the weekly Back Stage magazine delivered via email to your laptop or mobile device.  From cover to cover, the Back Stage Digital Edition is an exact replica of the paper, with many enhancements available only to Digital Edition subscribers.

How do I know when a new Digital Edition is delivered?
Weekly e-mail alerts can be set up with your Digital Edition subscription so you know when new issues are available.  You can also log in directly to your account every Wednesday morning (for Back Stage West) or Thursday morning (for Back Stage East) to view your new issue.

Is the Digital Edition subscription the same as a Back Stage online subscription?

No.  The Digital Edition and the BackStage.com online subscription are two separate products.  Each subscription has its own unique Login and Password and are not connected in any way.

Can I purchase a Digital/Online combo subscription?
Digital/Online combo subscriptions are not available at this time.  We will let you know when this option is available.

I already have a print subscription to Back Stage.  Can I switch to the Digital Edition or add the Digital Edition to my current print subscription?
Yes.  If you would like to switch from the print version to the Digital Edition, or add the Digital Edition to your current print subscription, please call customer service at 800-562-2706.

Log-In Help: The Back Stage Digital Edition

Backstage_digital_edition_mainad_wi

Depending on the subscription you've signed up for, the Back Stage East Digital Edition and Back Stage West Digital Edition may require separate subscriptions (or a subscription upgrade may be needed). Although these two Digital Editions share the same landing page online, your subscription might only include access to the Back Stage East or West versions of the Back Stage Digital Editions (including current issues and digital back-issue archives).

Your Digital Edition subscription might also not be connected to your regular BackStage.com or Back Stage East/West print-edition subscriptions -- you might have different subscriptions and usernames/passwords set up for each of these products.

So if you need to contact Back Stage for assistance, please note whether you’re having trouble logging in to one or both of the Back Stage Digital Editions (East or West) and/or the regular BackStage.com website, so that we can be sure to address the log-in problem correctly.

However, if East vs. West Digital Edition access is not the problem and you're sure you're using the correct username/password, then the log-in problem you're experiencing is almost definitely a browser/cookie issue . . . .  To quickly resolve this type of problem, we suggest upgrading to the latest version of the free Firefox web-browser. To download and install the browser for free, visit http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/.
