This post is purely about a show, folks. Theatre, all theatre--no politics here---uh.... My old theatre company--the one I was a member of for "five minutes or something" is doing their second rendition of BUSH IS BAD, The Musical! (Alaskan Beauty Queen Edition). If you love to hate Republicans or love to laugh-or both-and I know Republicans who find the show hysterical too--well, okay, maybe one! Then, by all means--GO! Here are some lyrics to tempt the Bush-bashers into actual theatre seats. Put your money where your mouth is and go support your art and your politics in one fell swoop! "How can fifty-nine million people be so dumb?" Like it? Love it? Want more of it? It's the only show in town where you can hear Condoleezza Rice sing about her Bush.
