Atlantic Theater Company...for Kids

The Atlantic for Kids program, now in its 10th year, has announced two upcoming productions that are just plain weird.

First, a revival of David Mamet's youth-oriented play The Revenge of the Space Pandas or BBinky_rudich_3 inky Rudich and the Two-Speed Clock, which according to the press notes,

follows the adventures of a boy named Binky as he travels through time and space with his friends Vivian (a girl) and Bob (a sheep). They find themselves trapped on the planet of the space pandas where the Supreme Ruler wants to turn Bob into a wool sweater. But, with a little ingenuity they just might be able to make it back to Earth in time for lunch.

Atlantic for Kids' second show, a collaboration between Maurice Sendak and Carole King (Really Rosie, a musical slated for Spring 2008) seems kind of boring in comparison.
