Acting Out

The final deadline for the Method Fest Independent Film Festival is quickly approaching. One of the only festivals in the country with a dedicated focus on acting, the Method Fest honors outstanding performances in character-driven features and shorts. This year's event will be held March 27-April 3 in Calabasas, Calif. All genres welcome; student films eligible. Postmark deadline is Jan. 31, 2008; entry fees $25-$50. www.methodfest.com.
