This American Ira Glass

For one night only in New York City, Ira Glass, radio producer and host of NPR's This American Life, will perform a program of storytelling by weaving together audio clips while sitting behind a desk. The show goes on April 6, at 3 p.m., at the Center for the Arts, 2800 Victory Blvd, Building 1P, Staten Island, NY. A Q&A session will follow the performance.

Glass began his career as an intern and has worked on nearly every NPR network news program. In March 2007, the television adaptation of This American Life premiered on Showtime and was nominated for three Emmy awards.
