Art Aid

The Los Angeles County Arts Commission is accepting applications for the nation's first regional effort to help the homeless through the arts. Artful Solutions: Pathways From Homelessness Grant Initiative is an 18-month pilot program that will grant up to $15,000 to nonprofit arts organizations whose projects use the arts to alleviate homelessness in L.A. County. Projects must take place between July 1, 2008, and June 30, 2009. Application deadline is June 11, 2008; no entry fees.
