Cosby Sweaters To Be Auctioned

Still looking for the perfect Father's Day gift idea? Cosby Show fans, rejoice! A lucky few can have their own authentic "Cosby sweaters" soon.

Bill_cosby_sweater_8 The AP reports that when he was cleaning out his closet recently, comedian Bill Cosby apparently found a few of the iconic multi-colored sweaters he wore as Dr. Cliff Huxtable on the long-running NBC sitcom. Cosby's daughter Evin is auctioning three of the sweaters on ebay to raise money for the Hello Friend/Ennis William Cosby Foundation, a charity named after Cosby's son, who was murdered in 1997.

The auction is scheduled for June 2-12, with minimum bids set at $5,000. That might be a high price to add an ironic statement to your wardrobe, but "the price of what some of these sweaters might sell for could make a big difference in the lives of thousands of children," said Evin Cosby.
