Bid for a Walk-on Role in 'Spider-Man 4'

Spiderman_painted

We already know that casting is underway for the upcoming Spider-Man Broadway musical. But you might not even need to audition for a role in the next Spider-Man film.

Currently on eBay: a walk-on role in Spider-Man 4, for only $5,100 (for now)!

Of course, this is assuming that Spider-Man 4 is actually happening, considering that there's no script, director, or stars attached to it yet (IMDb lists the project simply as "announced," with a tentative 2011 release date).

According to the auction, the top eBay bidder will win:

  • Spiderman_alex_ross A visit to the set of Spider-Man 4 (one shooting day)
  • A meet and greet with the cast (1 hour)
  • A walk-on/extra role in the film
  • Trip to the New York premiere
  • Designer outfits to wear to premiere for winner and guest from top designers
  • Winner and Guest will walk the premiere’s red carpet

The auction ends Sept. 5. The minimum bid is currently $5,100 but includes "free shipping," so at least you've got that going for you.

The nonprofit Stand Up to Cancer is auctioning off the Spider-Man 4 VIP package. If the prize is legit, at least it's for a good cause.
