CTG Offers Remedy for Economic Blahs

SoCal Stages_blog Center Theatre Group, the  award-winning producing company that encompasses the Ahmanson and Kirk Douglas Theatres and the Mark Taper Forum, is doing its part to help SoCal theatregoers deal with the current economic downturn. A new ticket discount program, called the Entertainment Stimulus Package, will make 100,000 tickets available at $20 apiece.

These substantially cut-rate tickets will be spread out among all theatres at each of the organization's three venues throughout their 2008-seasons, which includes 16 productions, ranging from Spring Awakening to Pippin.

The special tickets will be available from the first day tickets go on sale for each respective production. They can be purchased online, by phone at (213) 628-2772, or in person at the boxoffce at 135 N. Grand  in downtown L.A.
