The New Back Stage National Edition: More Casting — From Across the U.S.
We're very excited to announce that we've merged Back Stage East and Back Stage West into a single weekly publication, which will be available as a tabloid-sized newspaper on newsstands, in bookstores, and in subscribers' mailboxes across the U.S.
You'll now find more casting and job notices in Back Stage than ever before; and every issue of Back Stage will reach more readers. Plus, the national edition of Back Stage is also available as a digital magazine — check out BackStage.com/digital for a free Back Stage Digital Edition trial subscription.
The casting and jobs area of the new national edition of Back Stage is broken up into four distinct sections: New York Tristate, Southern California, Northern California, and National/Regional.
The New York Tristate section contains all of the NY, CT, and NJ casting and job notices that you previously would have found in the main casting area of Back Stage East. The Southern California and Northern California sections feature all of the notices that previously would have run in the main casting area of Back Stage West. And the new National/Regional section features nationally relevant notices calling for submissions from across the entire U.S., along with all of the single-state and multi-state notices that you would have previously found in our "Outside NY" and "Outside CA" casting sections.
Since all of the notices that run in the print edition of Back Stage also appear on BackStage.com, this means that our online readers will now have access to even more casting notices as well, thanks to Back Stage's new national focus. To receive a personalized notification whenever new notices are posted that match your interests, make sure to sign up for our Casting/Job Alerts option.
More good news: Back Stage now includes three "Auditions at a Glance" calendars, highlighting auditions in New York, California, and nationwide. You'll be able to find these audition calendars every week in the print and digital editions of Back Stage, and they'll be published online at BackStage.com/Auditions.
So, Back Stage readers will now have access to nearly twice as many casting and job opportunities every week! And we're committed to bringing you even more new, unique, and high-quality notices in the future—both in print and online. Visit the casting area of BackStage.com for daily casting updates.
To find talent for your own projects, visit the Casting Center's Employer's Toolbox and click on "Post a Notice." Special offer: Enter promo code National25 during the post-a-notice checkout process to receive 25% off the already low cost of running your notice in Back Stage's print, digital, and online editions all at once (discount offer expires in 60 days).
Quickly reach top talent, discover collaborators, and create buzz for your project and auditions when you post a casting, job, workshop, festival, or open mic notice with Back Stage: Get on the radar of thousands of actors, singers, dancers, comedians, models, musicians, filmmakers, directors, stage technicians, choreographers, writers, and many other artists across the performing arts community. We look forward to helping you find high-quality talent for all of your projects.
