The 40th Annual Nashville Film Festival, the fourth longest-running festival in the country, is seeking submissions from young, emerging independent filmmakers. Past participants include Jason Reitman (Juno), Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow), Barbara Kopple (Harlan County, USA), and Kevin Smith (Clerks), who all debuted their earliest works at the Nashville Fest.
