Eight Plays in 24 Hours

Fandl-web Still lost for ideas for things to do on New Year's Eve?  Here's a great idea for all you lovely stars and starlets in Los Angeles.  Don't miss this one!  The Sacred Fools Theatre, sticking to the tried and true, once again attempts to write and perform eight plays in 24 hours.

Check out Fast and Loose #33 on December 31 at 8PM.  This is a great time for actors, a way to meet other industry folks, and a chance to see some guerilla play writing at its best.    A team of writers, directors and actors are given a few key words and concepts and the challenge is that they must turn those words into  eight brand new plays in a mere 24 hours.

The night before, writers get random variables a prop, a phrase or the setting of the play.  They also get the cast breakdown.  Then they must craft an original piece from thin air essentially and hopefully an over-active imagination .

At 9:00am the next day, the directors are randomly assigned a script and a cast.  The rest of the day is spent rehearsing and preparing for the 8:00pm showtime.

There will also be a New Year's Eve Party afterwards as well.  The ticket price is $15.00.  For more information got to the Sacred Fools website.
