'Friday Night Lights' Adds Two Cast Members

Michael b jordan and matt lauria

Michael B. Jordan and Matt Lauria have joined the cast of Friday Night Lights as series regulars. They are two of four new characters being introduced this season to replace departing cast members Adrianne Palicki, Minka Kelly, and Zach Gilford.

Jordan (All My Children, The Wire) will play Vince, East Dillon’s resident troublemaker. "Although charming at times, the junior running back can be dangerous and menacing—a result of his crime-riddled upbringing. He quickly finds himself at odds with the team’s new pretty boy Luke."

Lauria (Lipstick Jungle) plays Luke, "a charming yet cocky junior who reluctantly finds himself playing for Coach Taylor’s East Dillon squad."

The 13-episode fourth season of Friday Night Lights debuts Oct. 28 on DirecTV.
