God of Carnage has extended its Broadway run. Tickets are now on sale for performances through Feb. 28, 2010, at the Bernard Jacobs Theatre. The Tony-winning comedy is currently on summer hiatus, but will return Sept. 8 with the complete original cast.

Marcia Gay Harden, James Gandolfini, Jeff Daniels and Hope Davis were all nominated for Tony awards for their performances; Harden took home the 2009 Best Actress honor. They are contracted to remain with the production through Nov. 14; casting has not been announced for dates beyond mid-November.

Speaking of ticket sales, the final 16 performances of the Broadway musical The Little Mermaid are completely sold out. The Little Mermaid closes Aug. 30 at the Lunt-Fontanne. Cancellations and day-of standing room tickets are now the only means of seeing the show's remaining performances.
