'New Moon' Success Does Not Wane

NewMoon2 The vampire mania raged on as "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" claimed the top spot at the weekend box offices for the second weekend in a row, grossing $42.5 million in the U.S. Although "New Moon" triumphed over the weekend, it was Warner Brothers' "The Blind Side" that won at the box office in an upset on Thanksgiving Day. "Blind Side" came in second for weekend totals at $40.1 million. The newly released Disney flick "Old Dogs" followed in fourth place at $16.8 million.
