Spider-Man Needs a Rescuer

McCollum According to The New York Times, Michael Cohl, lead producer of Broadway's "Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark," is on the lookout to team up with other producers on the project. Most notably, Cohl has approached the Tony Award-winning duo Kevin McCollum and Jeffrey Seller. McCollum and Seller have had much success with both revivals and original musicals including the current "West Side Story" and "In the Heights." Cohl has expressed interest in McCollum and Seller not only as investors but "in having the two men come aboard as hands-on producers who would shepherd the project from development to Broadway." Though conversations have begun, no agreement has been announced.
