Abrams wants to ‘Spin’

Abrams_1211 Television executive producer, director, and writer, J.J. Abrams, wants to adapt for film “Let the Great World Spin,” Colum McCann’s National Book Award winner, the New York Times reports. Abrams is in talks with McCann to option the rights to the fiction novel about a tightrope walk between the Twin Towers in the 1970s. “Spin” would be produced by Abrams’ Bad Robot in conjunction with Paramount Pictures. Abrams is best known for his work with “Lost,” “Alias,” and the newest “Star Trek” film.
