Glickman Leaves MPAA

0122 Dan Glickman MPAA Chairman and CEO Dan Glickman will leave those posts April 1, the association announced today.  The group’s interim head will be current President and COO Bob Pisano, who has held executive positions at Screen Actors’ Guild, Paramount Pictures, and MGM in the past, while the search continues for a person to fill the position permanently. Although his contract ran through the fall, Glickman is backing out early to head the advocacy group Refugees International, but said of his soon to be former post: “for me, perhaps the best thing about the job was the movies.”
