NBC Greenlights Two More Pilots

0129 NBC studios NBC picked up pilots for a comedy called “Outsourced” and a drama called “The Cape” on Thursday. Written by Tom Wheeler, “The Cape” has a comic book feel and follows a policeman who, after being framed for a crime, dons a mask and vigilante identity in an attempt to restore his name. “Outsourced” is about an office manager who is demoted and sent to India to organize a group of misfit customer service reps. Ken Kwapis, who regularly directs “The Office,” will direct the pilot of “Outsourced” in a similar single-cam format.
