'Everyday Rapture' Replaces 'Lips Together'

Sherie Sherie Rene Scott’s play “Everyday Rapture” will head to Broadway with the Roundabout Theater Company this month instead of the planned “Lips Together, Teeth Apart.” “Lips,” which was supposed to star Patton Oswalt and Megan Mullally, was postponed last month when Mullally quit the production amidst rumors that she felt Oswalt lacked the experience to perform in it, according to the New York Times.  “Rapture,” starring Scott as a version of herself, was well received when it ran at Second Stage Theater last year. It begins previews at the American Airlines Theater on April 19 and will run from April 29-July 11.
