Feeling 'Sick'

Today's episode of "Behind the Scenes" features the very talented Erik Patterson, who has a new play "Sick" opening in Los Angeles next week. Patterson and his writing partner Jessica Scott recently won the WGA Award in the category of Children's Script--Long Form or Special--in which there were no other nominees. They won for their script of "Another Cinderella Story," a made-for-TV follow-up to one of my favorite guilty pleasures, "A Cinderella Story," with Hillary Duff. Their version features a great turn by Jane Lynch, now tearing up scenes on "Glee," as a washed-up singer who now hosts infomercials to help people get rid of back acne. At one point, Lynch raps "Baby Got Bacne," a song that has inspired many web tributes.

"Sick" opens at LATC on Apr. 17.
