'Looped' to Close April 11

0406 looped The final performance of the Broadway comedy Looped will be held April 11 at the Lyceum Theatre. The show, starring Valerie Harper as actor Tallulah Bankhead, will close following 27 previews and 25 regular performances. Written by Matthew Lombardo and directed by Rob Ruggiero, "Looped" focuses on Bankhead's trip to a studio to re-record one line of dialog for what was to be her last movie.

UPDATE: Variety reports that a tour of "Looped" could be in the works.
