N.Y. Theater Company Gets Grant for Greeks

0407_parthenon A New York theater company has received $800,000 to support an effort to produce traveling performances of Greek classics. According to the New York Times, Aquila Theater Company will perform scenes from "The Odyssey," "Ajax," and other works for veterans groups as well as rural and urban audiences across the country. The grant was provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
