David Mamet's most recent Broadway excursion, "Race," has been extended through Aug. 23. The show, which opened in December at the Ethyl Barrymore Theatre, had been scheduled to close June 13. "Race" stars James Spader, David Alan Grier, Kerry Washington and Richard Thomas, and focuses on two attorneys who take on as a client a wealthy white man accused of sexually assaulting a black woman.
