Major Cast Changes on Broadway

94259642 Christina Ricci will get her Broadway debut this fall in Donald Marguiles’ “Time Stands Still.” The former child star of “The Addams Family” franchise will play the friend of a photojournalist played by Laura Linney. Brian d’Arcy James and Eric Bogosian return to the cast of the Tony nominated play as it resumes performances Sept. 23 at an undetermined Shubert theater, according to the New York Times. There have also been cast changes for David Mamet’s “Race.” Starting June 15, Afton C. Williamson will replace Kerry Washington and Dennis Haysbert of “24” and “The Unit” will replace David Alan Grier. James Spader is also leaving the cast, though his replacement has not yet been announced.
