Hulu to Preview Subscription Service

Dollarcropped The popular online video service Hulu announced Tuesday that it will launch a preview of its subscription service. For $9.99 a month, subscribers gain access to content unavailable on the free online version of the site, such as past seasons of popular TV shows like “Arrested Development” and “Law and Order: SVU,” and will be able to play Hulu content on an array of electronic devices, including portable Apple products, internet-connected televisions, Blu-Ray players and Play Station 3’s, among others. The long-expected transition is prompting outcry from many users, who aren’t enthusiastic about having to pay for content that they can currently access for free.
