Actor Paul Ryan Rudd Dies

Paul Ryan Rudd, a Broadway actor and leading interpreter of Shakespeare in the seventies and eighties, died Thursday at his home in Greenwich, Conn., of pancreatic cancer. He was 70. Largely present on Broadway in the mid-1970’s,  Rudd’s notable theater credits include Peter Nichols' “The National Health;” Eugene O'Neill's “Ah, Wilderness” opposite Geraldine Fitzgerald, Teresa Wright and Swoosie Kurtz; and the title character in “Henry V” in Central Park opposite Meryl Streep. Rudd is survived by his mother, his wife, and three children.
