SAG Switches D.C. Lobbyists

According to Variety, the Screen Actors Guild has hired Cassidy & Associates as its lobbyist in Washington, D.C., ending its two-year, $375,000 relationship with Kilpatrick Stockton. Nancy Fox, national director of government relations and policy for SAG, told Variety that Cassidy, headed up by former Rep. Marty Russo (D-Ill.), will work on behalf of the guild in areas related to tax issues and digital online theft.
