SAG to Honor Ernest Borgnine

0819 borgnine The Screen Actors Guild will present Ernest Borgnine with its Life Achievement Award Jan. 30 at the 17th annual SAG Awards. The ceremony will be held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on TNT and TBS. "Whether portraying brutish villains, sympathetic everymen, complex leaders or hapless heroes, Ernest Borgnine has brought a boundless energy which, at 93, is still a hallmark of his remarkably busy life and career," SAG president Ken Howard said. "It is with that same joyous spirit that we salute his impressive body of work and his steadfast generosity."
