'King Kong' Musical Headed to Broadway

King Kong is ready to take New York once again. The Australian production company Global Creatures plans bring "King Kong—Live on Stage" to Broadway. Marius de Vries will write the score with book by Craig Lucas. Daniel Kramer is slated to direct. More than 40 actors, singers, dancers and puppeteers will reportedly be involved in the production, which is scheduled to open in 2013.
