Showtime Going ‘Boycrazy’
Showtime is developing “Boycrazy” a comedy series based on Alexi Wasser’s looking-for-love blog imboycrazy.com. Wasser will star in the show, which finds her character navigating the romantic landscape of Los Angeles in search of a partner. Lynda Obst is set to executive produce, while Daisy Gardner will take on show running duties. “Boycrazy” will continue a recent trend of internet-based comedy; CBS’s “$#*! My Dad Says” was based on a twitter feed and ABC is working on a series based on the “Awkward Family Photos” blog.

So, lemme get this straight, instead of watching starlets implode and party like maniacs revealing their degenerate, battered psychologies post big productions, projects etc- i.e. lohan, cyrus, hilton etc.
The Alexi Wasser show proposes to show the audience the reverse- skipping the career accomplishments and pimping a neurotic actress-model type as she scrapes together her mental and social issues to create a "likable" personality peppered with slang, profanities, body image slandering, man bashing, promiscuity, etc.
Sounds about as thrilling as looking at medical books to see nudie picks when you are an adolescent, I am afraid the audience who can identify with this type of personality is already busy watching SKINS...
Hey producers, do you think you could jazz this shit up a little and have Wasser compete with herself to win a stint at a therapy or rehab center at the end of the series?
