‘Saw 3D’ Tops Halloween Box Office

Betsy Russell Horror film “Saw 3D” was the number one movie at the box office this past Halloween weekend, beating the other horror film, “Paranormal Activity 2,” which fell to 2nd place. “Saw” earned $24.2 million, when taking Thursday’s midnight screenings into account, and “Paranormal” earned $16.5 million in its second weekend. The Bruce Willis action movie “Red” received $10.8 million.
