Actor Neva Patterson Dies at 90
Neva Patterson, a Broadway stage veteran known for having played Cary Grant's fiancee in the 1957 film "An Affair to Remember," died Dec. 14 in Los Angeles. She was 90 years old. According to Variety, Patterson died of complications from a broken hip. In 1952, she originated the role of Helen Sherman on Broadway in the play "The Seven Year Itch."
