The Motion Picture Association of America is moving closer to naming a new chairman. According to the Los Angeles Times, one of the top candidates is former Virginia Republican Congressman Tom Davis, who resigned from the House of Representatives in November, 2008. Other candidates who have reportedly been considered are Sen. Bob Kerrey (D-Neb), Sen. Evan Bay (D-Ind.), and New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson. The job comes with a reported $1.2 million dollar salary.
