London Film Critics Circle Noms
A little behind on this, but the London Film Critics Circle Nominations were announced yesterday. I debated the point in posting yet another list of the same old same old noms, but there were some nice additions--Edgar Ramirez for Best Actor for "Carlos," for example. I do feel like these nods show how "Black Swan" continues to gain steam, while the other top contenders--"The King's Speech" and "The Social Network"--still make a strong showing. I'm a little surprised the Brits didn't embrace "Another Year" over more American films like "The Kids Are All Right" for Best Picture, however. While I'm not always a fan of Mike Leigh, I think "Another Year" is one of his best, and figured if it was to be recognized anywhere, it would be by his fellow countrymen and women.
Full list after the jump.
