Houdini, Doyle Solving TV and Film Mysteries

Mike Syfy is developing a series centered on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Harry Houdini solving mysteries with a female cop in the 1920s. Coincidentally, Dreamworks just acquired an original script by Michael Straczynski that is about Houdini and Doyle solving murders in 1920s New York. The projects are independent from each other, but both are based on the real-life friendship between the two historical figures.
