WGA Votes in Favor of 'Pattern of Demands'

According to The Hollywood Reporter, WGA members have voted tremendously in favor of the proposed "Pattern of Demands." Now this document will be used when the union begins making its contract proposals. Some of the topics included on the outline are higher contributions for pension and health, increased minimums, and increased residuals for basic cable and new media. No date for negotiations with the producers' alliance has been set, but on May 1 the current contract expires.
